“His Excitement Is Contagious”- Michael Cole Expresses Delight As Pat McAfee Signs Multi-Year Deal With WWE

Veteran WWE commentator Michael Cole recently took to Twitter to express his excitement at Pat McAfee signing a multi-year deal with the company. WWE posted a tweet earlier today, informing fans that McAfee has agreed to a multi-year deal. He has been a commentator on SmackDown and WWE premium live events for more than a year. Pat has also wrestled a few matches in his brief stint with WWE.

The duo of Michael Cole and Pat McAfee has entertained the fans a lot every Friday night on SmackDown. They have formed a great combination, and Cole had the following reaction to McAfee signing a multi-year deal:

“After 25 years in “the booth,” working with @PatMcAfeeShow is the highlight of each week. His excitement is contagious (even if he almost kicks me when standing at our table) and has helped revitalize my love for our business! @WWE, our fans, and I are lucky to have him!”

Michael Cole will work as a commentator for Pat McAfee’s next match in WWE

Pat McAfee is scheduled to take on Happy Corbin in a singles match at WWE SummerSlam 2022. The feud started a few weeks ago on SmackDown and has been one of the talking points from the Blue brand every week.

McAfee wrestled two matches at WrestleMania 38 earlier this year. He registered a win against Theory before Vince McMahon had a match against him and beat him with the help of Theory. Stone Cold Steve Austin then came out and delivered Stunners to all three men in Dallas.

It will be exciting to see McAfee performs at the biggest party of Summer this year. Happy Corbin has been one of the most annoying heels on TV, while McAfee is a lovable babyface. Their match should steal the show, and it is very likely that fans will see Michael Cole doing commentary for this match.
