“Here Is What du Plessis Will Do If CSK Wins IPL 2022- Fan Posted A Hilarious Meme After RCB Name Faf As Captain

The Royal Challengers Bangalore team grabbed all the headlines today with their huge RCB Unbox event which happened in Bengaluru. RCB announced former CSK star Faf du Plessis as their new skipper for IPL 2022 and also unveiled a brand new kit, which many fans feel is the best one in their IPL history.

The Royal Challengers have been a part of the Indian Premier League since 2008. They are one of the few five teams to have played in all the seasons of the IPL, but they have never been able to capture the IPL trophy. It is not that they have failed to perform in all seasons.

RCB qualified for the final in IPL 2009, 2011 and 2016, but they lost all three matches. This year, they have assigned the team’s reins to former South African cricket team captain Faf du Plessis who is a very successful IPL player.

A Twitter user posted a football meme related to CSK, RCB and Faf du Plessis

The fans on social media have been abuzz with the news emerging from the RCB Unbox event. One of the fans compared the current situation involving Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Faf du Plessis to a football scenario.

He posted a photo of Barcelona who were joined by their former player Ronaldinho after winning the trophy. Ronaldinho played for AC Milan. The Twitter user clearly hinted that Barcelona is like CSK, Ronaldinho is Faf du Plessis, whereas AC Milan is like RCB in this situation. It will be interesting to see if something like this happens in the IPL.
