Here Is The Reason Why Torrie Wilson Retired From WWE Early

Torrie Wilson was one of the most remarkable women to have trodden the WWE Divas section and sadly her injury came in the way between her and her greatness as she couldn’t make it to the big leagues and continue with her brilliance. However, she still makes intermittent appearances for the promotion every now and then, as WWE would always be her first love.

Wilson started her wrestling career in 1999 at WCW as a valet and then she moved to WWE in 2001 where she was a member of the Alliance. She later turned into Vince McMahon’s affair, a career-defining storyline for the hard-hitting Diva.

Her in-ring debut came alongside Stacy Keibler against the likes of Trish Stratus and Lita, another iconic pair in the antiquity of WWE Divas section. She was a regular performer in WWE until 2008 where the first signs of a prolonged injury manifested.

She had to part ways with the industry after suffering a major back injury. In fact, such was the extent of the injury that she had to undergo a physical therapy for the hurt. Owing to her recovery, she took a prolonged break from the company and finally on May 8th, 2008, WWE chose to let her go.

Wilson returned briefly though at WrestleMania 25 to be a part of the 25-Diva Royal to be crowned as Ms. WrestleMania. She also contested in the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble and the Battle Royale at the Evolution Premium Live Event in 2008.

Tory was finally inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 by Stacy Keibler while she returned the favor four years later by inducting Stacy into the WWE HOF. Her current calling includes being a fitness instructor, an influencer and a blogger spreading her wrestling knowledge across the globe.
