Indian off-spinner R Ashwin is making sure that he doesn’t waste any time as he was seen at the TNPL auction table for Dindigul Dragons ahead of the 7th season of the league. The senior Indian all-rounder was an integral part of the team strategy and was seen bidding for players.
Ashwin is currently part of India’s squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The off-spinner has played a pivotal role in India’s win in the first two games as he wreaked havoc across Australia’s batting lineup and has put his team at the top.
Not only with the ball, but the off-spinner has also played a staggering role with the bat as well. Ashwin picked 8 wickets in the Nagpur Test, picking a fifer in the second innings. With the bat he smashed 23 runs at No.3. He batted up the order and played a crucial role for his side.
In the second Test, Ashwin picked 6 wickets with the ball and batted staggering well in the first innings, scorning 37 runs that helped India post a total close to the opposition’s total.
