Faf du Plessis’ international career
Far du Plessis arguably is one of the finest players that South Africa has produced. Termed a class act he played an instrumental role in taking the Proteas Cricket to great heights on the world stage along with the likes of AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, Dale Steyn and others.
Not only with the bat, but he also did a terrific job for his side as a leader as well. Du Plessis was one of the most consistent players for him as he scored runs both at home as well as in overseas conditions.

However, despite having an illustrious career, Faf du Plessis had sleepless nights because of one Indian bowler. Speaking to ESPNCricinfo, he revealed who troubled him a lot. He said: “Saeed Ajmal quite a bit. Then Test matches in India, it was Ravindra Jadeja.”
Ravindra Jadeja has taken 242 wickets in Test cricket, 189 in ODIs, and 51 in T20Is. He was out for a long time with an injury but now has been included in the Test side for the first two games against Australia.
