WWE SummerSlam 2022 Prediction: Who Will Win Rey Mysterio & Dominik vs The Judgement Day Match?

WWE SummerSlam 2022 is coming up this weekend, and the card is shaping up to be a decent one. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar go up against each other for the last time ever. Bianca Belair will square off against Becky Lynch in a feud that has lasted a whole year, and comes full circle at Summerslam.

A big premium live event like this is bound to have fans speculating and predicting the results of the matches. The Mysterios vs The Judgement Day is one such match. These two have been at odds for some time now.

Finn Balor and the Judgment Day have been tormenting the father-son duo of Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. A major point of this feud has been the Judgement day trying to turn Dominik on his father.

Things have been heating up, which resulted in a brawl this week on RAW at Madison Square Garden. With talents like Finn Balor, Damien Priest and the Mysterios involved, there’s no doubt that this is going to be an excellent match. The question, however is- who wins?

Will Edge return at WWE SummerSlam 2022?

Our prediction is that The Judgement Day will win the match. We may even see a heel turn from Dominik Mysterio if he turns onto his father. The group got under new leadership as Edge was forced out by Finn Balor turning heel.

Since then WWE is trying to establish them as a force to be reckoned with. So it’s important for the Judgement Day to win their early major feuds to be taken seriously as a group. On the other hand, Rey Mysterio is a legend who can afford to lose without too much impact to his spot.

In addition to this, since the past few weeks, mysterious vignettes teasing a WWE superstar have been airing on RAW. There’s a high chance that this superstar is none other than Edge, who’s returning after being ousted from the Judgement day. It’s possible that his first feud back would be against those who brutally kicked him out of the group. For that, Balor and his troops need to look strong. The Mysterios have been spinning their wheels on the main roster anyway.

Coincidentally, Triple H is now the head of creative, and the members of the Judgement Day are all of ‘his guys’ i.e. they’re all NXT stalwarts. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
