Mohammed Siraj three quick wickets in the first Test against Bangladesh

Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj is breathing fire in the ongoing Test against Bangladesh in Chattogram. After India post a mammoth total of 404 runs on the board, they needed a solid start with the ball to get going and Siraj did exactly that.

He bowled a staggering first delivery of the innings, that took the outside edge of Najmul Hossain Shanto’s bat and saw him back in the hut for a golden duck. The pacer gave India a fiery start and left Bangladesh tottering at 0/1.

If this was not enough, he then bowled impeccable lines and lengths that troubled the Bangladesh batters including Litton Das, who was looking good. Siraj beat him a couple of times off-stump and after that, the two were engaged in a verbal confrontation.

The batter gestured something to Siraj but he gave him the best possible reply as he bowled a quick ball, that stayed low and took Litton’s bottom edge before clattering into the stumps to end his knock for 24 runs.

Siraj, however, didn’t stop there as he kept blowing staggering lines and lengths. His effort paid off as he then sent Zakir Hasan with a peach on 20, and they left Bangladesh reeling at 56/4. His staggering effort was well-complimented by Kuldeep Yadav, who made the batters look clueless with his spin bowling and picked 4 wickets.
