David Warner, who is a former IPL title-winning captain of SRH, fell off the radar earlier in the first leg of this season when he was not just sacked from captaincy, he was also dropped from the play ing XI. As it turned out towards the end of the tournament, Warner was kept even out of the matchday squads, and he had to travel to the stadium separately from the squad with the other young players.

“Hyderabad is my second home, fans loved me a lot, I would like to play for them next year, but it all depends on the franchise and management – looking forward into the mega auction,” Warner said while speaking in an interview to Indian journalist Boria Majumdar.
The circumstances in which David Warner was dropped, it was very clear that he was treated a bit harshly. He was dropped after a few bad games, despite having the weight of plenty of runs he scored for the team in the past.
