Many former Chennai Super Kings players have found success as a coach. Some of them have gone on to win multiple trophies. The 2024 edition of the Hundred is also a solid opportunity for some of these coaches to win a title. Here, we take a look at the list of three former CSK players who are Head Coaches in the Hundred 2024.

1) Stephen Fleming – Southern Brave

After his first season as a batter, Stephen Fleming took over the reins at CSK as the Head Coach. Since then, he has held the position at the franchise. It looks very hard for him to be replaced any soon. He is also the most successful IPL coach, with five trophies to his name.

While Fleming also coaches the other Super Kings franchises, he is also the Head Coach of the Southern Brave. This team has been doing well and Fleming will look to add another trophy to his name.

2) Andrew Flintoff – Northern Superchargers

Andrew Flintoff is one of the former CSK players who are Head Coaches in the Hundred 2024. The former English all-rounder was one of the big-money signings back in 2009. However, he did not have a great IPL career.

Nevertheless, he is trying his luck as a Head Coach. It will be his first gig in the Hundred. Having gained some experience as an assistant coach with the England Team, he will look to implement his learnings for the Superchargers.

3) Mike Hussey – Welsh Fire

At CSK, Mike Hussey has been a batting coach. However, outside the Indian Premier League, the former Australian cricketer has multiple assignments as a Head Coach. The Welsh Fire job is one of them.

Hussey has terrific experience in the T20 format. As a coach, since his retirement, he has gained experience. Therefore, the team is lucky to have a person like him at the helm. Even in the previous seasons, Hussey was with the side.
