“Goodbye KKR”- Ashok Dinda Sends A Message To Kolkata Knight Riders After They Were Eliminated From IPL 2022

Former Kolkata Knight Riders pace bowler Ashok Dinda has sent a message to his former franchise after they suffered a defeat against the Lucknow Super Giants and were knocked out of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. Dinda was one of the top bowlers in domestic cricket. He also played multiple international matches for the Indian cricket team.

Now after retirement, Ashok Dinda has joined politics. He also shares his views on cricket regularly. In a recent social media post, Dinda said goodbye to the Kolkata Knight Riders after they lost to the Lucknow Super Giants and were eliminated from the race to the playoffs. Dinda then wished them luck for the next season of the Indian Premier League.

Dinda then gave advice to the Kolkata Knight Riders team management and urged them to sign more players from their home state Bengal. Here’s what Dinda wrote:

Ashok Dinda plans to launch an academy soon

In a chat with Sportskeeda last year after announcing his retirement, Ashok Dinda had said that since the ‘Dinda Academy’ is quite famous on social media, he plans to take some break from the sport, and then he will launch his own academy to groom the young talents. Here’s what Dinda had to say:

“And there is a social media page named ‘Dinda Academy of Pace Bowling’, so I am thinking why not open an academy with the same name? It is already famous, so a plan to open ‘Dinda Academy’ is there.”

Kolkata Knight Riders will look to make some big changes to their team after managing only six wins from 14 matches. They may probably release some big names from their squad as well.
