WWE is ready to open the gates to the Land of the Extreme with their next pay-per-view show, WWE Extreme Rules taking place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with this being the first Extreme Rules show to be held in October and also the first to happen on a Saturday night. Fans have started making their predictions for WWE Extreme Rules 2022.
With the road to the most physically tormenting pay-per-view kicking off, the WWE Universe witnessed the very first match made official for the show, with current Smackdown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan set to defend her title against Ronda Rousey in their third encounter.
Ronda was the same woman Liv cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase opportunity to claim the title in the first place and retained the title on the following pay-per-view in a controversial finish where Liv pinned Ronda’s shoulders to the mat at the same time, she submitted to her dangerous Armbar.

Liv Morgan recently picked up a huge win over Ronda’s MMA cohort and former sparring partner, The Submission Magician Shayna Baszler at WWE Clash at the Castle proving that she can win clean and hang with the best and the most dangerous inside the squared circle.
The Miracle Kid’s victory momentum takes a surprise turn while watching Ronda Rousey win a Fatal-5 Elimination match on the post Clash at the Castle edition of WWE Smackdown earning the right to challenge Morgan once again for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Early predictions hint who will win Liv Morgan vs Ronda Rousey match at WWE Extreme Rules 2022
The question remains to be answered – who will come on top and leave Wells Fargo Center as the Smackdown Women’s Champion? Liv Morgan has worked her entire life to reach this position in her WWE career reigning over the entire WWE Women’s division as the champion.
While many detractors believed that she will always remain a sidekick and never become an acclaimed singles competitor, Morgan defied the odds and morphed herself successfully into a mainstream star with a bright future ahead of her.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet Ronda Rousey on the other hand is the epitome of success in the world of combat sports, being former UFC Champion and Hall of Famer, multiple-time WWE Women’s Champion, and a Wrestlemania headliner with everything about Rousey speaking box office attraction.

We have seen Liv Morgan’s rise to the top suffer a setback at the sight of her controversial win over Rousey leading to the fans turning on the resilient champion for a while, not before Morgan was successful in winning them back in the weeks leading to WWE Clash at the Castle and eventually becoming a babyface once again with her huge victory over Shayna Baszler in the United Kingdom.
Suffering a loss or another underhanded victory could derail Liv Morgan’s push once again and could be beyond repair this time. The Miracle Kid needs a hard-fought victory over Ronda Rousey to establish herself as a Bonafide main event caliber star.
Ronda won’t be affected by a loss due to her established presence all over the sporting world and this could be an opportunity for the Rowdy One to move to other storylines and battle fresh competition she has not faced in the ring yet like the current RAW Women’s champion Bianca Belair or maybe evenly dangerous Rhea Ripley.
