The eight coaches in the ongoing Big Bash League have picked the team of the tournament. While most of the picks were reflecting the statistics, some popular names such as Glenn Maxwell were missing. In this article, we take a look at the coaches BBL Team of the Tournament.
Coaches pick the BBL Team Of The Tournament
In the XI picked by the coaches, the openers are Ben McDermott and Josh Philippe. Ben McDermott is actually the highest run-getter in the competition so far. The Hobart Hurricanes opener struck two centuries and three fifties in thirteen games. His centuries came in back-to-back encounters. He played with a strike rate of above 150 and there are already reports that a few IPL Teams are interested in him. Josh Philippe continued his good form and will keep wickets for this XI.
Ben McDermott, Josh Philippe, Daniel Sams and Peter Siddle won all eight votes to get a place in the XI. The other prominent members of this team are Mitch Marsh, Moises Henriques and Rashid Khan. Marsh continued his top form in the BBL as well. Like it has been for a few years now, Rashid Khan made yet another impression with his wicket-taking skills. He took 20 wickets, including the six wickets that he took in a single encounter.
Sean Abbott and Jason Sangha are the X-Factor players in the XI. The duo received four and three votes respectively.

Glenn Maxwell misses out
