Mumbai batter Prithvi Shaw has set the stage on fire in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2023 game between Assam and Mumbai. The right-hander has played one of his best innings in red-ball cricket.

Opening the innings, Shaw provided his team with a staggering start and made sure that they stay on top of the game. He batted staggering well and paved his way through the century before the lunch. He achieved the feat in just 107 balls.

However, he didn’t just stop there as he went on to score his 150 in 164 balls and then finally went on to smash his double century in Tests. Shaw scored 200 in 235 balls. His innings helped Mumbai post over 390 runs on Day 1. He remained unbeaten on 240 runs from 283 balls at Stumps on Day 1. He also scored 33 fours and 1 six in his innings. With the way he’s playing, it is likely that he will score a triple century.
