3 franchises which bid for Mohammed Shami in IPL 2022 Mega Auctions and could bid for him again

Mohammed Shami is the second-best pacer in India at the moment. He could have issues with fitness but if he is available, he could deliver 20 wickets in a single edition. He has done that recently and has helped a side win the league, as well. Some teams that wanted to sign him up for the last Mega Auctions could target him once more. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three franchises which bid for Mohammed Shami in IPL 2022 Mega Auctions and could bid for him again.

1) Royal Challengers Bengaluru

RCB had planned to pair up Siraj and Shami for the last cycle. However, that did not happen. Nevertheless, the franchise could plan to sign him for the next cycle.

Shami and Virat Kohli enjoy a good relationship. This could be a vital factor for the franchise to sign him. Yash Dayal is already a part of the setup and adding Shami will further strengthen the Indian pace attack.

2) Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR is one of the franchises which bid for Mohammed Shami in IPL 2022 Mega Auctions and could bid for him again. It has been a while since KKR has had a good West Bengal cricketer in the team. Now, they have a real chance to sign a few good Bengal-based cricketers.

Shami is, of course, the most popular among them all. He will also be useful to the side which has Harshit Rana as one of the pacers already. Shami’s experience will help Harshit develop further.

3) Lucknow Super Giants

LSG has retained two young pacers in Mayank Yadav and Mohsin Khan. Both will surely need the guidance of an experienced pacer.
