A long season ahead for the five-time champions
Meanwhile, MI has not started its season on a good note. They suffered a heavy defeat to RCB on Sunday. Next up, they will face Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium.
MI is already missing the services of Jasprit Bumrah. Without him, the squad balance has become bad. The playing XI must now include two foreign pacers and hence, the batting unit gets weakened. On top of this, the likes of Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav are not in great form.

That said, the team can aim for a good finish if the batters step up. Ishan Kishan needs to do what Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad are doing for their respective teams. SKY needs to stay at the crease for a longer time to find his touch.
