Bray Wyatt Death Reason Disclosed – Reports

Bray Wyatt shockingly passed away on August 24. WWE shared the tragic news on social media earlier today about the death of Bray Wyatt, but the company did not reveal the reason in their official statement.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful took to Twitter to share the reason of the sudden death of Bray Wyatt after taking permission from his family. According to Sapp, Wyatt got COVID, which exacerbated heart issues. He had a heart attack, which led to his death.

In a tweet posted on his Twitter account today, Sean Ross Sapp wrote:

“I was given permission to reveal that earlier this year Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID that exacerbated a heart issues. There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery. Unfortunately, today he suffered a heart attack and passed away.”

Some fans were furious with Sean Ross Sapp’s tweet as they felt that the reason should have been disclosed by one of the family members of Wyatt only. Looking at the negative responses in the comments, Sapp posted another tweet, which read:

“I encourage those reading to respect the family’s privacy if at all possible, but his loved ones wanted some details clarified.”

WWE did not share the reason behind the death of Bray Wyatt

While Sean Ross Sapp shared the news with the fans on social media, WWE and the superstars have refrained from commenting anything regarding the same. The statement posted by WWE on Instagram read:

“WWE is saddened to learn that Windham Rotunda, also known as Bray Wyatt, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 24, at age 36. WWE extends its condolences to Rotunda’s family, friends and fans.”

WWE had a full script planned for Friday Night SmackDown. However, according to a report by BWE, they have decided to change all the plans. It looks like a tribute to Bray Wyatt will air live tonight.
