Backstage Reason Behind Bryan Danielson Winning World Championship At AEW All In 2024

The passionate fan base of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) witnessed a remarkable night at AEW All-In that took place recently at Wembley Stadium in London. In the main event, Bryan Danielson outlasted Swerve Strickland in a Title vs Career match to capture the AEW World Championship. However, new details have emerged in regards to Bryan’s road to his first World Championship win in the All Elite Wrestling landscape.

What are the inside details in regards to Bryan Danielson’s road to his first World Championship in AEW?

Bryan Danielson outlasted an array of top AEW stars in the Owen Hart Foundation Cup to earn a shot at the AEW World Championship at All In.

According to a new report by Fightful, Bryan Danielson was never interested in a run with the World Championship. AEW President and CEO Tony Khan had been pushing heavily for Bryan to win the championship despite The American Dragon turning down the idea multiple times. Eventually, Bryan came along with Tony Khan’s idea, and the plans to crown him as the new champion were set in place as early as April of this year.

Moreover, the report also stated that Will Ospreay was slated to be in the main event of the AEW All-In. However, it was realised that he could be a part of the main event at a later stage. In regards to Bryan, it was reported that he did not walk into the match in proper condition.

Regardless, Bryan Danielson displayed an excellent performance in his match against Swerve Strickland, and he tapped him out of the lebell lock to win the AEW World Championship. With the American Dragon’s career still intact and his reign as champion starting, we will have to wait and see who will be the first one to step up and challenge Bryan Danielson for his title.
