CSK are trying hard to make it to the IPL 2022 playoffs. They changed their skipper from Ravindra Jadeja back to former captain MS Dhoni, who won his first match in-charge after taking over the mantle. Further, one key player that returned from injury is England all-rounder Moeen Ali.
The 34-year old former RCB man returned to action against his ex-team, with CSK desperately needing a win. The points would be instrumental to their qualification for the playoffs, though a lot of fans had already written them off.
