At RCB, Mo Bobat is the Director of Cricket and Andy Flower is the Head Coach. Both these individuals were involved with the England Team before. Hence, it is not a surprise if the duo picks up some English cricketers at the auctions. 1) Jofra Archer
RCB needs a foreign pacer who can bowl in all phases of the game. Jofra’s fitness is now good and he is likely to play in IPL 2025. Therefore, quite a few teams could target him.
Jofra Archer can be a good and reliable partner for Mohammed Siraj. Since Siraj can go wayward at times, having someone like Jofra in the XI could help him, as well.
2) Ben Duckett
Ben Duckett is one of the English cricketers Andy Flower might target for RCB in IPL 2025 Auctions. The 29-year-old was one of the best batters in the Hundred 2024. He scored runs at a good strike rate for his side.
A left-handed attacking batter, Ben can play as both a top-order and a middle-order batter. He can also keep wickets if required. His profile suits the Chinnaswamy Stadium and hence, he can be a target for RCB.
3) Ben Stokes
It is not sure if Ben Stokes will enter the auctions. However, considering he has signed a short-term contract with ECB, it will not be a surprise if he takes IPL seriously from now on.
His fitness will be an issue but if he is available alone as a batter, as well, it will be good for RCB. He can also captain the side and since RCB is looking for a skipper, they could target Stokes. It will also be exciting to see him partner with someone like Virat Kohli.
