Real Madrid La Liga fixtures for the season 2022/23

Real Madrid La Liga Fixtures: Real Madrid has been off to a phenomenal start to the latest edition of the La Liga as they thrashed Almeria and Celta Vigo in their two opening encounters. Despite falling behind in the season opener where Largie Ramazani drew first blood for Almeria, Lucas Vazquez and David Alaba hammered home in quick succession to bring Real back into the contest.

If the first contest was a tad bit closer to the edge than to Real’s liking, the following battle against Celta Vigo allayed all feats of a bumpy start as Los Merengues ran wild. Benzema converted from the spot to impart an early lead to Real before Iago Aspas would find the back of the net in a frenetic passage of play where tempers flared and it was more grappling than football.

However, Real Madrid was soon back in the hunt as Luka Modric’s 42nd-minute strike helped them go ahead before Vinicius Jr and Federico Valverde slammed home on the other side of the breather to seal the game for Madrid.

With all said and done, Real will be a part of a few interesting contests in the upcoming days where they will be up against Espanyol on 29th August, hoping to finish the month on a high while September will present them with three encounters, the latest of which will be the iconic Madrid derby.

October will be the month to watch out for as there will be six heated contests which will also be starring the iconic El Clasico that will be witnessing two revamped sides going into a battle with glimmers of future coming alive.

For the first time in the last few years of Real Madrid’s history, they will be without the heart of their iconic midfield trio featuring the likes of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro as the latter departed for Manchester United. However, with all said and done, there is already fresh blood on the hunt for Real Madrid as they will be sniffing blood after a sumptuous start to the season.
