The resident power couple of the wrestling world, AEW’s Buddy Matthews and WWE’s own Mami,Rhea Ripley recently shared the screen for a humorous advertisement showcasing their latest addition to their home i.e, a custom-made arcade machine for their entertainment.
As seen on Instagram, Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews dropped a reel in collaboration with Phantom Arcades. The firm is known to make customized arcade machines and saw the two popular wrestling stars as their latest clients.
Why did Rhea Ripley pull a gun at her own fiance, Buddy Matthews?
In the video, the former WWE Women’s World Champion can be seen asking the AEW star for help around the house. To her surprise, Buddy Matthews asked her to wait due to being involved in playing the arcade game.
Not happy with the answer, Rhea then approached him and pulls a toy gun from the arcade machine’s drawer,possibly a prop for one of the games. She then pointed it at him in a playful threatening manner to make him help around the house immediately.
“When Mami calls, you better come RIGHT AWAY!”
You can watch the reel here. Despite working for different wrestling companies, the Australian stars met in WWE and publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2022. Furthermore, the power couple announced their engagement in August of last year and are on their way to the altar.
In terms of their professional setting, Buddy Matthews is currently a part of the House of Black faction led by Malakai Black in AEW. On the other hand, Rhea Ripley was at the pinnacle of the women’s division as the WWE Women’s World Champion. However, she now finds herself on the sidelines due to a shoulder injury, suffered at the hands of her rival, Liv Morgan.
While Mami is still months away from being cleared, she is utilizing her recovery period to spend ample time with Buddy Matthews and her family while also rehabing for her aforementioned injury.
