Mumbai is the most successful side in the history of the Ranji Trophy. Recently, as well, the team ended its short drought with a Ranji Trophy victory. Many Mumbai cricketers who did well in the Ranji Trophy went on to represent the country, as well. Interestingly, some of these players also quit Indian cricket and went to the USA to explore further opportunities. A few of them might even play in the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup. Recently, the USA named the squad for the T20I series against Canada and that gave a hint on the players who could play in the mega ICC event. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two former Mumbai Ranji Trophy players who will represent the USA in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

1) Saurabh Netravalkar

Saurabh Netravalkar is one of the former Mumbai Ranji Trophy players who will represent the USA in the 2024 T20 World Cup. A left-arm fast-bowler, Saurabh can also offer value with the bat in the lower order.

After his stint in Indian cricket, he went to the USA. An engineer by profession, Saurabh was the skipper of the USA Cricket Team for a long time. While Monank Patel will captain the team now, Saurabh will still be an integral part of the squad.

2) Harmeet Singh

Harmeet Singh was a part of the Mumbai setup. He also tried his luck in states such as Tripura. Although he did well, the recognition was missing. Hence, he quit Indian cricket and moved to the United States of America.

A left-arm off-spinner, Harmeet will form an integral part of the USA setup. Each squad needs a good left-arm spinner and hence, Harmeet will be important if the USA has to do well. Considering he has experience being a part of the IPL, as well, USA will benefit by his presence.
