Call it a move of desperation, call it an attempt to deliver the telling blow, call it whatever you want, AEW is trying its best shot at drawing attention towards the Devil angle, gimmicks that has gained popularity through the years in WWE via the hands of the Undertaker and Bray Wyatt. Adam Cole revealed himself as the Devil in the latest PPV of AEW called the World’s End.
Over the last few months, a man in a mask has inflicted brutal assaults on countless oppositions and as it goes, his latest victim was MJF as he went onto take a serious hammering at the hands of Cole’s masked men. Well, it seems that targeting their best man with this Devil gimmick was all that AEW could offer and yet somehow the fans are not really convinced of this entire thing.
Adam Cole came in front of the a packed house for AEW and at the end of it all, he revealed himself as the Devil, a chilling scene that would send chills down the spine of MJF who was thrashed mercilessly by the masked men working for Cole.
Here is what Twitter had to say about Adam Cole being the Devil
The masked men chose to reveal themselves first and they turned out to be Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Roderick Strong and Wardlow who went all guns blazing at the defending AEW champion before flattening him out with one of the most merciless beatdowns the company has ever seen. And when Cole came knocking, things turned into a bloodfest.
With MJF stripped of not one but two of his titles, the first being his tag-team title coming to an end followed by his AEW championship reign being taken away by Samoa Joe at World’s End. With so much happening, here is what Twitter had to say about the reveal of Adam Cole as the Devil.
