The defending champions did have plenty of other options and hence, picking Carse was a surprise. Will Jacks would have been an interesting pick for the unit. He is in form and would have added a lot of balance and firepower to the side. His versatility could have also helped England.

2) Jofra Archer

Jofra Archer is one of the players England could have picked as a replacement for Reece Topley instead of Brydon Carse. Jofra has joined the England Team in India.
