Steve Smith is arguably one of the best Test batters going around in the world cricket. He played a staggering knock in the ongoing third Test against South Africa, which saw him shattering a few records as well.

In the ground, where he loves batting, Steve Smith has produced another magnificent knock at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The former Australian skipper brought up his 30th Test on in the ongoing third game against South Africa.

Smith came to bat when Australia lost Marnus Labuschagne for 79 runs. He crafted his innings staggering well and paved his way through half-century first. However, he didn’t stop there as he kept showing patience and grit while punishing bad balls at the same time.

He then finally got to the 100-landmark in 190 balls. Smith smashed 10 fours and 2 sixes in his innings and also stitched over 200-run partnership with Usman Khawaja, who also smashed his ton.

With his century, Smith has now gone past Don Bradman’s 29 tons in Test cricket. He also displaced Micheal Clarke as the 4th leading run-scorer for Australia in Test cricket with 8647 runs to his name.
