Brett Lee picks Arshdeep Singh as his new favourite left-arm fast bowler from India
Arshdeep Singh set the stage on fire with his performances in the last two editions of the IPL. Be it power play, middle or death, the Punjab King pacer delivered almost every time for his side.
His impressive performance in the IPL earned him an Indian T20I cap and he made many laud him for proving his mettle even at the international stage. Arshdeep was named even in Indiaโs squad for the Asia Cup 2022 and performed reasonably well.
He troubled batters with his ability to bowl constant yorkers at the death. He took five wickets in five matches and he was the biggest positive for India despite not having a good campaign. Arshdeepโs consistent performance earned him his maiden T20 World Cup call-up.
He didnโt disappoint as he was Indiaโs best bowler in the tournament and ended as the leading wicket-taker for his side with 10 wickets to his name. The left-arm pacer gave India a staggering start in power plays and also bowled exceptionally well at the death.
