A big change happened in the Top 3 of the Pro Kabaddi League 2022 Points Table after Day 1 of the Pune leg. It was the 18th day of the tournament, and the first one at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune.
Fans in Pune were treated to a Triple Panga on Friday night. The first match of the night was between Tamil Thalaivas and Jaipur Pink Panthers. Although the Thalaivas did not have Pawan Sehrawat in the squad, they registered a massive 38-27 win against the Pink Panthers.
Later in the night, home team Puneri Paltan locked horns with the Haryana Steelers. An intense match between the two teams ended in a 27-27 draw. In the main event of the Triple Panga, Pardeep Narwal’s UP Yoddhas crossed swords with his former team Patna Pirates. The match went down to the wire, with the Pirates prevailing by 34-29 eventually.
