Former WWE Divas Champion Paige has been a talking point on social media after she announced that she would leave WWE on July 7. Paige is one of the most popular Superstars in the pro wrestling world right now, but unfortunately, her career came to an abrupt end owing to her injuries. Reacting to her departure, The Rock’s daughter Simone wrote an emotional note on Twitter.
Paige was not a part of the iconic Four Horsewomen group, but she played a major role in bringing about the women’s revolution in WWE. The former Divas Champion put on some memorable matches for the fans. She also formed a clan named PCB with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.
Apart from that, Paige also was the leader of a group named Absolution that helped WWE launch Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville on the main roster. Paige also managed The Kabuki Warriors for a while besides working as the General Manager of SmackDown Live for many months.
The Rock’s daughter Ava Raine labeled Paige as her inspiration growing up
Soon after Paige posted a long message on Twitter to inform the fans about her WWE future, one of the company’s newest signings Ava Raine, aka Simone Johnson, quoted that tweet and wrote:
you were my biggest inspiration growing up & showed me that you didn’t have to fit a mold to be a superstar 🖤 thank you https://t.co/RJPEkhFrKd

Paige has clarified in the last part of her message that she is not sure about her future as a pro wrestler in future. However, if she is able to make a full recovery, she could make a return to WWE in the coming years.
She could even join AEW, where Superstars like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Christian are performing regularly after retiring from professional wrestling once upon a time in their careers.
