The 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is currently underway in India, where the top cricketers of the world are competing against each other for the coveted trophy. IPL 2022 has been one of the most exciting seasons of all time. Also, the commercial value of the tournament has gone up significantly, with so many sponsors supporting the tournament financially. Every year, there would be around five to eight awards at the post-match presentation of any IPL match, but in IPL 2022, there are 10 awards given to players after the game. One of them is the Swiggy Instamart Fastest Delivery of the Match. The award is given to the player who bowls the quickest delivery in the game.

Umran Malik should be in the reckoning for India’s Test team: Kevin Pietersen

Former England team Kevin Pietersen has enjoyed Malik’s bowling in IPL 2022. Here’s what he wrote in his column for Betway recently:

“To me, there is no point waiting around. Malik should be in the reckoning for India’s Test team, as well as white-ball sides. Nobody enjoys facing that kind of pace. You could use him like Australia used to use Mitchell Johnson, in short three- or four-over spells so that he can just let rip.”
