This time, it will be a one-day international match, the 1000th ODI game of the Indian cricket team.
The Indian cricket team is scheduled to take on the inaugural Cricket World Cup winners West Indies in their 1000th, ODI fixture. Initially, the ODI match between the Indian cricket team and the South African cricket team at Boland Park was scheduled to be the 1000th, ODI game of the Indian cricket team. Narendra Modi Stadium has played host to seven international cricket matches so far
Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium hosted its first-ever international match earlier this year, featuring the Indian cricket team and the England cricket team. The 997th, 998th and 999th matches of the Indian cricket team will take place in South Africa against the South Africa cricket team. After that, the Indian cricket team will return home and host the West Indies cricket team in an ODI series.
The series between the Indian cricket team and the West Indies cricket team will comprise three ODI matches. Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Kolkata are the cities that will host the 3-match series.
