WWE programming has been amazing its hardcore fan base each and every week with improved storylines, in-ring matches, and better push for all the Superstars on the active roster. The new WWE SmackDown team led by Triple H’s creative regime and direction looks promising and aims to lead the company towards a better and more progressive than former WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon had not even visioned during his tenure.

Like each week, the WWE Universe could expect the unexpected from the company this week as well on Friday Night Smackdown as the road to the next pay-per-view, WWE Extreme Rules is in Full Gear. Here are 5 potential surprises we can witness in this edition of WWE Smackdown:

The newest member of the Bloodline, Solo Sikoa has already begun to live up to the expectations of his family, dethroning Carmelo Hayes and capturing the NXT North American Championship this Wednesday on NXT 2.0.
The youngest Uce could declare his further intentions of adding more gold to the Bloodline, announcing to go after the WWE Intercontinental and United States Championships next.
2. Hit Row meets The Usos
The other half of The Bloodline, The Undisputed Tag Team Champions, The Usos could see the rise of the latest threat to their titles, the charismatic tag team known as The Hit Row.
The team comprising of Top Dolla, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, and flanked by B-Fab could be ready to make their big impression in the second coming by setting their sights on unseating Jimmy and Jey to claim the tag team titles.
3. Shayna is back in the title picture
Last week on Smackdown, we saw The Baddest Woman on the Planet Ronda Rousey win a Fatal 5-Way match to earn the right to once again challenge Liv Morgan for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at WWE Extreme Rules.
Right after the match, Ronda extended her offer to Shayna Baszler to join forces and cause wreckage over the entire Women’s division. This could see Shayna being added to the match after winning another contender match making it a triple threat match to temporarily join forces with Rousey during the match and take out Morgan, who claims victory over both competitors in an act of vengeance and then fight out among themselves to get their hands on the Women’s Title.
4. Imperium VS The Brawlers
Gunther vs Sheamus at WWE Clash at the Castle is making the rounds for being one of the best matches produced, getting a 5-star rating by popular Wrestling Journalist Dave Meltzer.
With both of them joined by their stable members now, this week on Smackdown could see The Reuniting Imperium (Gunther, Ludwig Kaisar, and Giovanni Vinci) taking on Sheamus and his cohorts, Butch and Ridge Holland in a massive 6-man tag team match planting the seeds for a rematch between Sheamus and Gunther at Extreme Rules for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
5. No.1 Contender’s match for Roman Reigns’ titles on WWE SmackDown
The current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns looks unstoppable and so does the wave of challengers looking to put an end to The Tribal Chief’s historic title run.
This episode of Smackdown could see No1 contenders match announced for WWE Extreme Rules between the re-emerging Braun Strowman, the unconventional Karrion Kross who already set his sights on the title ever since his return, and the fallen Warrior Drew McIntyre looking to gain another opportunity at Reigns after being screwed out of the title unfairly at WWE Clash at the Castle.
