WWE SummerSlam 2022 is just around the corner, and WWE has assembled a stacked card for the show. Roman Reigns takes on Brock Lesnar in a Last-Man Standing match.
The Usos will face the Street Profits for the undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. Bianca Belair will take on Becky Lynch, culminating a year long feud with the horsewoman.
With so less time left for the event, it’s time for the last minute predictions!

This is one of the easiest results to predict. Roman Reigns is having the reign of a lifetime, being the world champion for more than 600 days. This match against Lesnar is supposed to be the last ever match between these two. There’s absolutely no chance, nor reason for Brock to win against Reigns.
WWE have spent a long time projecting Reigns as an equal to Brock Lesnar in kayfabe. It would be idiotic for them to waste all that on someone who had decided to return until he got a lot of money.
Currently, it feels like Cody Rhodes will be the one to dethrone Roman after he returns from his horrific injury. Theory cashing in successfully would be an unwelcome wrinkle in the story. But on the other hand,
2. Street Profits lose via miscommunication
The Bloodline have been going strong and steamrolling everyone. So it felt like a change of pace when a legitimate office favorite team in the Street Profits challenged them for the titles. However it seems like the Street Profits will probably be unsuccessful in taking the tag titles off the Usos.
WWE has been trying to push the fact that Ford and Dawkins aren’t on the same page. It’s no secret that Montez Ford is seen as someone with major potential as a singles star. The Street Profits losing via miscommunication furthers the dissension between them for their eventual breakup. On the other hand, it could be a red herring and WWE surprise us all pleasantly and let the Profits win the big one.
3. Sasha Banks and Naomi return at WWE SummerSlam 2022
Since Vince McMahon retired, the wrestling world has gone into a frenzy about the status of Banks and Naomi. The two had reportedly walked out due to creative differences with Vince and co. With Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in charge, things suddenly look different for the Women’s Tag Team champions. Sasha Banks is a personal favorite of the power couple, and ‘Papa H’ will do anything to get her back.
He has already shown in NXT that the Women’s Tag Team Championships can be treated with respect. Them returning at WWE SummerSlam 2022 will be a tremendous moment for the fans. Naomi is one of the most popular women in the company, and Sasha is one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world.
4. Dominik Mysterio turns on Rey Mysterio
The Judgement Day have been at loggerheads with the Mysterios for quite some time now. An interesting caveat here is the Judgement Day trying to get Dominik Mysterio on their side for weeks. This will surely feed into the story of the match.
Dominik Mysterio has been floudering without purpose on the main roster for a long time now. He either needs a character refresh, or needs a stint in NXT 2.0. Whichever route the WWE decides to take, Dominik will play an important role either way. Him turning on Rey Mysterio, his father, and one of the most beloved faces of the past 30 years would be a great moment for his career.
5. Dolph Ziggler faces Seth Rollins at WWE SummerSlam 2022

The match between Rollins and Riddle was taken off of SummerSlam due to a ‘kayfabe’ injury to Riddle. Seth Rollins is a major star, and keeping him off SummerSlam would be a disservice to the superstar. Rollins has grown in popularity, and has been leaning into it for quite some time. With Riddle injured, Rollins will come out for an open challenge.
Dolph Ziggler’s stock has risen quietly for the past few weeks, and he is currently feuding with Theory on RAW. He’s also a dependable hand to go and have a competitive match with anyone on the roster. There’s a great chance that he answers Rollins challenge and puts him over in a great match.
