WWE SummerSlam 2022: What are the rules of Last Man Standing Match?

In less than five days, the latest edition of the WWE Summerslam will be hitting the silverscreens with a string of imperative showdowns up for grabs. However, the most impressive one of all is that of the two heavyweight grapplers, two faces of the industry, the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar and the Tribal Chief, Roman reigns.

This has been a long-standing rivalry between the two beasts of the company and the unrivaled popularity and stardom that these two bring to the ring, puts them above everyone else in the heavyweight roster.

Reigns will be defending his Undisputed Universal Championship at the Summerslam while the man from whom he snatched the gold around his waist will be hoping to quell the Big Dog’s reign once and for all.

The duo will be exchanging the all-important haymakers in a last-man-standing contest, a format that suits the duo the best. Both have no regard for caution while the toys along the ringside make this an even more intriguing slugfest.

However, in case if you are wondering what makes the Last-Man-Standing stipulation the perfect fit for these monsters, we would run you through the rules and regulations for the main event at Summerslam 2022.

#1 No rule is the only rule

There are no rules whatsoever for this stipulation. You can contest this anywhere. You can bring any prop into the game and nothing disqualifies you. You fight till you can stand.

#2 You can’t pin your opponent for victory nor can you put him to submission

No matter even if your opponent taps out or screams that he quits, that doesn’t help you win the game. Even if you pin him a gazillion times. The job is still not done.

#3 The only way to win

The solitary means to win this contest is when you stand tall over your opponent and the referee counts until 10 with your counterpart failing to get up on his feet. Even if he crawls or encompasses the entire ring after the countdown has begun, unless he is able to get back up on his feet, it’s a defeat for him.
