Every player wants to play all the three formats and so the demands have changed. So, let’s have a look at the four fittest cricketers in the current Indian team based on their performance in the Yo-Yo Test.

The young Delhi wicket-keeper who doesn’t have a physique like the top players but you have to be fit if you want to hit the ball long enough which he does. Pant who has received a lot of flak for his wicket-keeping and inconsistency with the bat has a score of 17.2 in the Yo-Yo test which is the fourth highest in the current Indian team.

He is way more fit than what many people think as he has been a gymnast and once, he gets consistent with the bat he will be a force to reckon with.

Hardik Pandya is completely opposite to Rishabh Pant. He has a lean physique and when you see him you can’t imagine him being a big hitter but when he hits the ball it stays hit.

Pandya has a score of 19 in the Yo-Yo Test which is the joint second highest in the Indian team. Even though he went through a major injury recently, he will remain one of the fittest cricketers in the current team.

Virat Kohli who has become a complete vegan is tied with Hardik Pandya in the Yo-Yo Test score. To be honest, Kohli is one of the fittest cricketers across the world and it is surprising to see Kohli have a low score in the Yo-Yo Test.

Manish Pandey is currently the fittest Indian cricketer in the current team if we go by the Yo-Yo Test numbers. The SRH batsman has topped the charts with his score of 19.2 in the Yo-Yo Test.

One thing which gives an indication of a player’s fitness is the fielding and Pandey is a terrific fielder. Every time his fielding is top-notch and hence it doesn’t come as a major surprise to see Pandey being first in this list.
