Australian cricketers are usually in great demand in the IPL. Having released them in the past, some outfits brought them back again. Here, we take a look at the list of four Australian cricketers who returned to their old franchises for IPL 2025.

1) Glenn Maxwell is one of the most experienced Australian cricketers in IPL 2025

It is not the second but the third stint for Maxi at Punjab. He has done well at the outfit before and has even captained them. He will play under Ricky Ponting at the franchise now.

2) Josh Hazlewood

Josh Hazlewood is one of the Aussie cricketers who returned to their old franchises for IPL 2025. He did not play in IPL 2024. Before that, he was with RCB. Again, the franchise signed him. Therefore, he is on the list, as well.

3) Marcus Stoinis is one of the exciting Australian cricketers in IPL 2025

The all-rounder has been at Punjab Kings before. Back then, he was traded to RCB. Stoinis spent time at Delhi and Lucknow before making a move to Punjab again now.

4) Tim David

Tim David made his IPL debut at RCB. Later, Mumbai Indians had him on the payroll for three years. RCB has hired the cricketer now as a finisher option.
