3 reasons why Liv Morgan should have become the next WWE Women’s World Champion

Liv Morgan planted the seeds for the spotlight to return to herself on the road to WrestleMania 40 by throwing her name into the WWE Women’s World title picture. She successfully garnered major attention towards her with her actions on the RAW after WrestleMania 40 by attacking then-champion, Rhea Ripley, which led to Mami getting injured and having to vacate her title subsequently.

With the title vacant, WWE announced that a new WWE Women’s World Champion would be crowned on the upcoming edition of RAW. With Liv Morgan being held responsible for presumably a golden opportunity opened for the Women’s division, her inclusion in the match seems imminent, and moreover, her chances of becoming the champion as well.

Unfortunately for Liv, she almost became the world champion before Becky Lynch took her down. Here are 3 reasons why Liv Morgan should have become the next WWE Women’s World Champion:

1. WWE can capitalize on her ongoing momentum

On the road to WrestleMania 40 as Liv Morgan petitioned to be included in the Women’s title picture, fans were right behind her to see the ‘Liv Morgan Revenge Tour’ invade The Show of Shows. Morgan had garnered huge support on social media and among the live audience in attendance which has continued to grow ever since.

Therefore, WWE has the opportunity to capitalize on her growing popularity by crowning her the new champion on RAW next week.

2. Liv Morgan becomes a top fixture much like she did in 2022

Liv Morgan ascended to the top of the WWE food chain in 2022 when she won the Money in the Bank briefcase and cashed in the same night to become champion. That period saw the rise in Morgan’s credibility as a bonafide attraction with Liv herself proving her worth as champion against competitors like Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey.

But she found herself lost in the shuffle right after losing the title, so Morgan could once again recreate that time period to become a main event talent by winning the WWE Women’s World Championship next week.

3. The title win can cement her status as the new heel in the Women’s division

With Rhea Ripley out of action, WWE suddenly has felt the absence of top heel superstars in the women’s division. Liv Morgan’s act against Mami were all signs of a massive heel turn that could be cemented with her vicious display of in-ring action in the match for the WWE Women’s World Championship.

The match could see Morgan win the title and further decimate her opponent to establish herself as the new heel champion, filling the void left by The Eradicator, Rhea Ripley.
