1) The EKANA pitch may not suit KL Rahul’s strengths
The EKANA pitch is a bit slow and may not assist the batters that much. KL Rahul is one of India’s best batters for all conditions. Yet, at times, he struggles when the ball comes slowly to the bat.
A venue such as the Chinnaswamy or the Wankhede could suit his strengths. To set his T20 career back on track, he could leave LSG before the next auctions.

The ownership issue is one of the reasons why KL Rahul must leave Lucknow Super Giants before IPL 2025. The viral video of the conversation between Sanjiv Goenka and KL Rahul after the game against SRH has put a bad light on the franchise.

KL Rahul has actually started playing well after returning from his injury last year. He has done well for India in ODIs and is also doing well in Tests. It is only his T20 game that needs some correction.
