Suryakumar Yadav has been ruled out of IPL 2022 because of an injury. The right-handed batter was in good form while playing for the Mumbai Indians team in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. He was one of the few bright spots of the team in their forgettable season.

However, ahead of their match against the Kolkata Knight Riders, the Mumbai Indians informed the fans that Suryakumar will no longer be a part of the squad. Reacting to the news, the batter wrote on Twitter:

“With all your wishes and support, I will be back in no time. To my Mumbai Indians family, I will be cheering for you from the other side, this time. Let’s finish the tournament on a high note and display our true character on the field.”
