3 players who failed at RCB but they might still target them for IPL 2025
Players failing at RCB have done well at other teams. Now, RCB could also target some of their old cricketers. Here, we take a look at the list of three players who failed at RCB but they might still target them for IPL 2025.
1) Quinton de Kock
As the replacement for Chris Gayle, QDK was expected to do wonders at RCB. However, despite playing sufficient matches, he could end up with an average of around 25. That is not the expectation from an overseas RCB opener.
However, at the moment, QDK might be a good fit for the franchise. He has better experience now and will be a good complement for Virat Kohli. Plus, his wicket-keeping skills will solve an issue for the franchise.
2) Tim David
Tim David is one of the players who failed at RCB but they might still target them for IPL 2025. It would be unfair if you tell that David failed for RCB. He played one game for the franchise and got out for just one run. However, considering his recent poor run in IPL, it will always be a risk to sign Tim David.
However, Andy Flower is a big fan of the Aussie and has signed him for multiple franchises. RCB will need a finisher with brute power and Tim David could be an option for the franchise. He could also come cheap because of his poor form now.
3) Sherfane Rutherford
The West Indian cricketer played three games for RCB and could not deliver his best. As a left-handed middle order batter, there were more expectations from him. However, Sherfane could not be consistent for the side.
That said, now, he is a better player and RCB could actually target him. He could be the left-hander that the team is searching for the middle order role. He could easily be a starter in the next cycle for RCB.
