Interestingly, Bumrah will also lead the squad. For a player who is important for India’s chances in the 2023 ODI World Cup, it would be a good assignment against Ireland to regain his fitness.

2) Prasidh Krishna

Prasidh Krishna had also missed cricket for a while. While he missed most part of the last year after IPL, he also missed IPL 2023.

A promising cricketer, Prasidh would also be a part of the aspirants looking for a spot in the Indian WC squad. Hence, his return will also be awaited by many.

IPL 2023 was a massive season for the cricketer. He re-discovered his hitting form and helped CSK win the title. As a left-handed middle-order, his role will be crucial for the Indian Team in this series.
