1) Jasprit Bumrah
There were a lot of doubts as to when Bumrah would return to competitive cricket. The suspense has now been answered with BCCI’s latest squad selection.
Interestingly, Bumrah will also lead the squad. For a player who is important for India’s chances in the 2023 ODI World Cup, it would be a good assignment against Ireland to regain his fitness.
2) Prasidh Krishna
Prasidh Krishna had also missed cricket for a while. While he missed most part of the last year after IPL, he also missed IPL 2023.
A promising cricketer, Prasidh would also be a part of the aspirants looking for a spot in the Indian WC squad. Hence, his return will also be awaited by many.
3) Shivam Dube
Shivam Dube is one of the players who are making a comeback with the Ireland T20I series for Team India. The CSK all-rounder last played for India in 2020.
IPL 2023 was a massive season for the cricketer. He re-discovered his hitting form and helped CSK win the title. As a left-handed middle-order, his role will be crucial for the Indian Team in this series.
