Playing under the leadership of MS Dhoni turned things massively for him as he was at his best in the league and played some fine knocks in the entire tournament. His performances saw him making a comeback into the Indian team and he made most of the opportunity after he smashed 89 runs in the WTC Final.

Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja, who is currently the MVP of the Indian team, is also among the players whose career took a U-turn after playing for CSK. The all-rounder during the initial part of his career was struggling to get going and due to inconsistent performers, he wasn’t able to make the cut into the Indian team. But after joint CSK in 2012, he has looked a class apart and has become an integral part of the Indian team.
Ambati Rayudu
Ambati Rayudu is also among the players whose career took a u-turn after playing for CSK. He struggled to make a cut into the Indian team. But after joining CSK in 2018, it was a completely different story for him. He scored truckloads of runs for the team and following that his career was revived and he was back in the Indian team.
