As per reports, Northern Superchargers in the Hundred League will be owned by the Sunrisers Hyderabad owners in the future. If that happens, we could see some common players across the Sunrisers’ squads. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three Northern Superchargers players whom SRH might target in the future.
1) Adil Rashid
At the moment, Adam Zampa is the lead spinner at SRH. However, he is someone who is infamous to pull out of the tournament at the last minute.
Plus, if he is out of form or if SRH needs a backup in the future, Adil Rashid, who has done well in India, can be a good choice for the side.
2) Ben Stokes is a Northern Superchargers player whom SRH can target
Ben Stokes is one of the Northern Superchargers players whom SRH might target in the future. If not now, at some point, Stokes will have a steady career in the IPL.
SRH needs a proper all-rounder and therefore, someone like Stokes can be the right choice for the side. He can reduce the pressure on the likes of Head and Klaasen.
3) Matt Short
The Australian cricketer is a rising all-rounder at the international level. He can open the inning and also operate at No.3.
He would be a good backup to have on the side. The likes of Kamindu Mendis may not have a long rope at SRH and hence, Short can be an investment in the future.
