MI Emirates won the second edition of the International League T20. They faced Dubai Capitals in the final and it was a convincing win for the side. However, some of the performers in this team would now don a different jersey in the upcoming IPL 2024. Here, we take a look at the list of three MI Emirates players who will play for different teams in IPL 2024.
1) Trent Boult
Trent Boult was one of the first names to be picked up by MI Emirates when the ILT20 started. Boult played for Mumbai Indians before and hence, it was not a surprising decision.
However, Boult would be the leader of the pace attack at Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024. For the last two seasons, he has been at RR and has been doing well.
2) Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran is one of the MI Emirates players who will play for different teams in IPL 2024. Pooran is the current captain of MI Emirates and played a splendid knock to help his team win the title. For a few months now, he has been in cracking form.
At IPL 2024, though, Pooran will play for LSG. The franchise needed a left-hander in the middle-order and hence, they spent heavily on him in IPL 2023 Auctions. It will be crucial that he does well in IPL 2024, as well.
3) Reece Topley
After pulling out of PSL, many felt that Reece Topley would take a rest. However, in a surprising news, it was announced that MI Emirates had signed him.
However, Topley did not play a single game. Yet, he was one of the winners of the trophy. In IPL 2024, he will play for RCB. Last season, as well, he was with RCB but he played one game before he got injured. Topley could share the new ball with Mohammed Siraj in IPL 2024.
