It has been a tough season for the Chennai Super Kings. However, there have been a few bright areas which will put the franchise in a better shape for the future. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three major positives for CSK in IPL 2025.
1) The replacement signings
Be it Ayush Mhatre or Dewald Brevis, both the replacement signings are big acquisitions for the future. Both these players will play a key role in the franchise for years to come. Therefore, it is a big positive for the side in IPL 2025.
2) Rise of a young core is one of the positives for CSK in IPL
A young core is rising at CSK. Dewald Brevis, Noor Ahmed and Matheesha Pathirana are already there in the franchise. The likes of Khaleel Ahmed are quite young, as well. Ayush Mhatre is also a key youngster in the side now.
3) Timely wake-up call for the CSK management
You could feel that the CSK management has been complacent for a while. Signing some out-of-form cricketers and planning to make these signings work seemed to be a strategy. However, it appears that these tactics do not work now. Also, the modern T20 template needs to be formulated better in the CSK backroom.
