In recent years, England cricketers have had a great role to play in IPL 2025. Nevertheless, some Englishmen might still warm the bench. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three English cricketers who might not play a single game in IPL 2025.
1) Brydon Carse
The tall cricketer will be more of a choice as a backup for Pat Cummins. Unless Pat is injured, Brydon may not get a game.
Since SRH has two good domestic bowlers Mohammed Shami and Harshal Patel, the combination might include an extra foreign batter than a bowler.
2) Moeen Ali is one of the English cricketers who may not get a game in IPL 2025
Moeen Ali is one of the English cricketers who might not play a single game in IPL 2025. If you take a look at KKR’s combination, Moeen could get a chance only if Sunil Narine is unavailable.
The team has a lot of left-handers. Hence, with Narine in the squad, there is very little chance of Moeen Ali getting a game.
3) Reece Topley
Again, Topley is yet another English cricketer who will be a backup. He will be Trent Boult’s backup at Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025.
Unless the Kiwi is unavailable, Topley might not get a chance. MI has a superb powerplay pacer in Deepak Chahar, as well. Hence, Topley’s chances further reduces.
