2 players who have surprisingly registered for Big Bash League 2025/26

The Big Bash League is one of the high-profile T20 tournaments. It enjoys good popularity and some fine T20 performers across the globe register to play here. Interestingly, a few players have shown interest to be a part of the league. Here, we take a look at the list of two players who have surprisingly registered for the Big Bash League 2025/26.

1) Siddharth Kaul

U19 World Cup winner in 2008, Kaul has played for India, as well. A former RCB and SRH cricketer, Kaul retired from all forms of the game last year. Many expected him to play in leagues meant for retired cricketers. However, it is good that he wants to play in a league like the BBL, which is highly competitive. It will be interesting to see if any team picks the veteran.

2) James Anderson has registered for the Big Bash League

Anderson has not been a part of mainstream T20 cricket. He had registered for the IPL and now, he has expressed his desire to play in the BBL. It would be a big statement for BBL if a legend like James Anderson plays in the tournament. He is still a fine asset with the new ball.
