2 players who are representing second nation in International cricket in the 2024 T20 WC

In every edition of the T20 World Cup or any ICC event, we see a few players representing the second nation at the highest level. Even in the 2024 T20 World Cup, we have some examples. We have not considered players who represented a different country at the junior level and are representing a different nation now. Many USA players fall into this category. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two players who are representing the second nation in International cricket in the 2024 T20 WC.

1) David Wiese – Namibia

David Wiese played for South Africa in the past. A few years ago, he switched his loyalty to Namibia. The team has been doing well since then and has already been a part of a few ICC events, so far. They will look to do well in the upcoming event, as well.

The 39-year-old all-rounder is an excellent option to have in any T20 XI. He is experienced and contributes in both departments of the game. His strength is his power-hitting, which can help Namibia pull off a few wins.

2) Corey Anderson – United States of America

Corey Anderson is one of the players who are representing the second nation in International cricket in the 2024 T20 WC. One of the newly added names to this category in this edition is Corey Anderson. He was a popular figure in the New Zealand setup before he fell out of favour.

Corey then decided to shift to the USA. It took a while but he finally qualified to play for the team a few months ago. He has been with the squad since then. Corey has also been doing well for them both with the bat and the ball. He adds terrific balance to the side. USA will hope that they would win a few games with the help of the former Kiwi all-rounder.
