Karrion Kross should be the next challenger for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship according to former WCW star Konnan. He says that he doesn’t understand the criticism against Kross by the fans who say he doesn’t have potential. He said Triple H has a “stud” in his hands in Kross and him challenging Reigns would be “great business” on his podcast Keepin It 100.
Here’s what Konnan had to say: “I don’t get when people bury Karrion Kross and say don’t see nothing in him. You see nothing in him? Bro, congratulations Kross, congratulations Hunter, you got a winner, a stud there. We have been saying this for a while, he needs to go about Reigns and that’s gonna be great business, bro. I’m so happy and stoked to watch this.”

According to recent reports, Konnan’s wish is going to be granted at Survivor Series 2022, which means it’s a match even WWE resonates with.

Kross returned earlier in August on SmackDown and immediately attacked Drew McIntyre from behind and laid him out. Then he and his wife challenged the Head of the Table in his signature style by placing the upside down hour glass on the ring. Roman and McIntyre will face each other on September 3 at WWE Clash At The Castle in Cardiff, with the Undisputed titles on the line. Drew is being hyped by the WWE Universe as the huge favorite here as it’s his home ground.
Therefore, if he wins, then the dynamics of Kross’s rivalry could change drastically in the future as who among the two he would face for the titles and when. It is however not clear if he would have any role to play in the title bout in Wales.
