India U-19 have reached the Semifinals of the ICC U-19 World Cup 2022. They are locking horns against the Australia U-19. Batting first, the Indian U-19 team has made 290/5 in their 50 overs.
The captain, Yash Dhull, guided India to a respected total along with the talented Shalik Rasheed. Dhull made a swashbuckling century against a strong Aussie bowling unit. He scored a run-a-ball 110 with the help of 10 fours and a century.
At a stage, the Indian cricket team was struggling at 37/2 in the middle of the twelfth over. However, Shalik Rasheed and Yash Dhull played with patience at the start and started building a partnership.
After settling in, both of them started playing their shots and took India out of troubled water. They stitched a 204-run partnership for the third wicket.
Dhull has been sensational in the tournament as he has scored 212 runs in three innings including one fifty and a century. He is definitely a great talent and got a bright future ahead.

Shalik Rasheed also played a sumptuous innings of 94 off 108 balls including 8 fours and a maximum. Coming in at No. 3, it was not easy for him at the start of the innings. The team lost two quick wickets but he held one end tightly and didn’t let the opposition take full control of the game.
He played a crucial role in letting India make a strong comeback. In the last ten overs, India made more than 100 runs. His innings let India accelerate significantly in the death overs.
India are in a good position in this game at the moment. The bowlers will be hoping to do the remaining job and help their team reach the Finals.
