WWE Universe saw an interesting angle on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The segment happened backstage between LA Knight and The Eater of Worlds Bray Wyatt.
Bray Wyatt made his return to the WWE at the end of WWE Extreme Rules. He was revealed to be the man behind the White Rabbit QR mystery. The show closed with his old theme song emanating over the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Right after, the Firefly Funhouse characters came to life, followed by the emergence of Bray Wyatt from the bright lights signaling his return after over a year. Since then, he has been tormented by a mysterious Uncle Howdy looking to drag Wyatt back to the dark side. Moreover, with each passing week, Bray Wyatt is inching towards embracing his darker demeanor.
LA Knight on the other hand was one of the most captivating Superstar back in NXT. His sheer arrogance and charismatic personality made him a popular name back in the developmental brand.
However, he was repackaged as Max Dupri, the main man behind the Maximum Male Models upon his main roster arrival and did not have the same impact that he had in NXT. But ever since Triple H took over as Head of Creative, he went back to his old roots and began wrestling under his old persona in an attempt to reclaim his momentum.
LA Knight and Bray Wyatt segment had a similar energy as past Superstars
During the November 11 edition of Smackdown, LA Knight was being interviewed backstage when he was interrupted by Bray Wyatt. Knight asked Wyatt to go back to his romper room who responded with a massive headbutt knocking him down. Furthermore, This was the first dose of physicality by Bray witnessed by the WWE Universe after a long time.

I was not expecting LA Knight, but he is very charismatic (Tries to be The Rock a little too much) and Bray sees something in him that could work very well. I’m here for it!👏 #SmackDown

I was thinking shades of Austin, personally. But he’s definitely got something going for him either way.
